Hear what our students say…
I’m sure Jian-Yang is a great practitioner, but what is equally important to her students is that she’s a great teacher. She brings the element of play into her lessons, play we lack in our daily grind. I love the tiger motions in five animal series. “Tiger stretching his claws” really get my cat’s attention. It happens that during a trying day at work or trying time with family, I pause remembering her guided meditation “Gentleness, like big blue ocean. Gentleness.” And it even becomes attainable, if only for a moment - Inessa
Dear Jian,I have been very busy getting everything finished on time for my graduation from acupuncture school. I miss attending your Qigong classes. I have found that whenever I get sick with anything like a cold, I bounce right back into health a lot more faster, because I do Qigong regularly! Thanks, Jian, for teaching me wonderful Qigong.- Kenneth
Exhausted from a hectic week or facing those time-consuming errands, I still enjoy my Qi Gong meditation and class routine. I searched carefully for a low-impact program I could do in class or at home for a body that didn’t always want to do what I asked. Over time I have noticed my breathing and stamina improve and made some great friends.- Leslie
I feel that applying Qi Gong to my life over the years has enhanced several health benefits such as, lowering blood pressure, higher level of oxygen in blood stream, body toning and bringing meditation to a deeper level.- La Rae
The class is terrific. I enjoy the meditation and the exercises. The stretching and balancing is very good for me.- Jan
A hidden jewel in Westchester, this is a wonderful class with a wonderful teacher. Yao is full of enthusiasm as he transmits his skill and deep knowledge of Tai Chi. Everyone will enjoy this class, and everyone will take something special away from it.- Nancy
During the class I can practically feel like tension and stress are leaving my body, melting away from my muscles, tissues and organs.
Energy starts to flow in and much easier reaches where it certainly needed. After the class you notice that you are not tired anymore, your batteries have been charged.
Even later that day, even several days after you still feel the healing effects of QiGong continue to repair and rejuvenate your whole body.- Mikhail Volokitin, M.D., D.O.

“I began going to Qi Gong and Tai Chi after a series of falls within a year’s time span. I felt I was too young to be falling right to the ground, and I knew I needed to work on my balance. Through a friend, I discovered Qi Gong Westchester http://www.qigongwestchester.com/. After a year of attending classes, I have not fallen and I feel great! I feel physically stronger, my mood has improved, and low and behold – my blood work is now within normal limits. No more high red blood cells, high cholesterol, hemoglobin, etc. My A1C (which has been in the diabetic range) is consistently coming down; my A1C is now borderline between normal and pre-diabetic.”
The other attendees in the classes are friendly, non-judgmental, and supportive. I am sure you will find Jian and Yao masters of their craft, and eager to share their knowledge with their devoted participants.”-bds

A friend who knows of my compromised respiratory system encouraged me to join QiGong class. I wish I had known / joined long ago.
After one hour of Jian-Yang’s smoothly lead continuous movements, coordinated positions, and focused breathing I began to feel energy throughout my body, lungs and a more focused mind. I walked out of my session feeling 2 inches taller, a feeling that lasted throughout the day. 6 weeks later this feeling of overall health and energy remains. Thank you my teacher.-Kleah
